Is There Anything Else I Can Do For A Stuffy Nose?

For those of you that suffer from allergies, there is a few different things that you can do to help your stuffy nose. While these won’t give you complete relief like nasal spray, it can help ease the pain and symptoms.

Wear A Mask: If you are working outside or just spending time outdoors, wear a mask. This will cut out a lot of allergy causing pollens that cause your stuffy nose.

Take A Bath: If you don’t want to wear a mask when your spending time outside, you should try taking a hot shower. This will break up some of the mucus in your nose and help remove allergy causing pollens on your skin.

Always Use A Dryer: If you’ve been drying your clothes outside on the lines, quit immediately. The last thing you want to do is hang your clothes outside. Use your dryer to dry all clothing from now on.

Keep Clean Filters: If you’re using an air conditioner or central heat, make sure you’re using the right filters. On top of that, make sure you keep them clean and dust free.

Keeping Your House Clean: This is a very important tip, keeping your house clean. First, you can keep your indoors dry with a dehumidifier. Again, don’t forget about your filters. Your vacuum cleaner can have a HEPA filter and always remember to empty the bag before and after you sweep.

While a stuffy nose is not a medical emergency, it can be annoying and it can be somewhat painful. Hopefully with the tips we outlined here, you’ll be able to find relief from your stuffy nose and allergies.
